European Travel Advisors was found­ed by Barbara Crawford after spend­ing 27 years ded­i­cat­ed to pro­mot­ing and sell­ing Italy to the American mar­ket. Barbara‘s edu­ca­tion­al back­ground is in Fine Art and Art History so Italy became her favorite European des­ti­na­tion back in the 1970’s.

Barbara has spent 7 years of her adult life liv­ing and work­ing in Italy. She began her trav­el career with Alitalia Airlines; ten years lat­er she left Alitalia to join Visit Italy Tours and returned to Italy to man­age the Rome office. While in Rome she was respon­si­ble for hotel con­tracts and all aspects of tour oper­a­tions and cus­tomer ser­vices for the American clientele.

Barbara returned to the United States and has ded­i­cat­ed her exper­tise to cre­at­ing cus­tom designed Independent tours for peo­ple with all dif­fer­ent bud­gets and inter­ests. European Travel Advisors has expand­ed its bor­ders to include France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, United Kingdom and Spain. Knowledgeable staff and many years of hands-on trav­el expe­ri­ence are what dis­tin­guish European Travel Advisors from its com­pe­ti­tion. Seasonal employ­ees work­ing under Barbara’s direc­tion are native Europeans.
