Itinerary
Day 1: Salzburg — Arrival
You are greeted upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 2: Salzburg
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Enjoy a morning tour of Salzburg which includes a visit to the Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Residence on Makart Square. You will gain an insight into the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque aspects of this romantic city. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city on your own. This evening enjoy a special dinner at a local restaurant featuring local cuisine (beverages excluded).
Day 3: Salzburg — Sound of Music
Following breakfast at the hotel, this morning a special experience awaits you. A wonderful tour featuring breathtaking views of the countryside and the locations used in the making of the Sound of Music movie. Enjoy the original music and visit the Mirabell Gardens, Leopoldskron and Hellbrunn Castles and Nonnberg Abbey. The afternoon and evening are at your leisure to indulge in the local pastries and you may want to attend a local concert of Mozart’s music.
Day 4: Salzburg – Return
Breakfast will be served at the hotel, check out and you will be transferred to the Salzburg airport or train station for your next destination.
