DAY 01 MONDAY: Pompeii / Sorrento
Arrival to Rome and early morning transfer to Sorrento (alternatively, pick up from Naples airport not later 11am). En route stop in Pompeii and visit one of the most incredible historical sites in the world, the Roman city buried and preserved by the volcano eruption of 79AD.
Following the tour of the excavations, continue to Sorrento and enjoy a tasteful lunch in a typical trattoria. After lunch learn from your tour host about Sorrento and your activities in town. Tonight the dinner will be served in a local restaurant in the heart of Sorrento.

Day 02 TUESDAY: CAPRI
Today, visit the island of Capri with guide. Capri is an enchanting and picturesque island made of limestone rock. A “paradise of idleness” surrounded by the bluest of seas; the dramatically beautiful, flower-covered Island of Capri has been enchanting visitors for centuries. Free time is permitted for lunch on your own. Return to Sorrento in the late afternoon. The evening is at your leisure. Overnight in Sorrento. Breakfast included.
DAY 03: WEDNESDAY: FREE DAY IN SORRENTO
Sorrento is an ideal location to discover the beauties of the region. Your tour host will provide you with a wide range of opportunities or you may reserve your excursion in advance via your

DAY 04 THURSDAY: AMALFI DRIVE
Today enjoy the visit of one of the most intriguing coastline in the world. Amalfi, Positano, Minori, Vietri… The small houses all huddling on top of each other, the breathtaking cliffs, the lemon and olive trees, the small beaches, the Saracen and medieval watch towers, the narrow roads make this place unique in the world, so precious to be listed in the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Enjoy the magnificent view of Amalfi Gulf from a relaxing terrace, where you will pick up you own lemons from a lemon tree and prepare a cold lemonade. Return to
Sorrento. Dinner will be served in a panoramic restaurant on the hills of Sorrento.

DAY 05 FRIDAY: MATERA
After breakfast, transfer to Apulia region along the beautiful ancient road that connect the west of Italy to Adriatic Coast, in front of Greece. En route stop in Matera and free time to visit the town. Matera has gained international fame for its ancient town, the “Sassi di Matera” (meaning “stones of Matera”). The Sassi originate from a pre-historic settlement and have been
inhabited for thousands of years without interruption. Early afternoon, continue to Polignano, a magnificent small village on the sea. Dinner and overnight in Polignano. Breakfast & lunch included.
DAY 06 SATURDAY: ALBEROBELLO & OSTUNI
The morning is free to enjoy the village of Polignano, go to the beach or just relax. In the afternoon, meet your driver for a full immersion in the life of Apulia. The first stop is Alberobello, the town protected by UNESCO for its unique architecture of Trulli houses.
Continue to Ostuni, the beautiful white town on the sea. Later enjoy a tasty dinner in Castellana, with the best of local tradition. Overnight in Polignano. Breakfast & dinner included.
DAY 07 SUNDAY: LECCE
Today, private guided visit of Lecce, the city of Baroque, a glorious architectural confection of palaces and churches intricately sculpted from the soft local sandstone. In the afternoon, return to hotel and free time in Polignano. Dinner is in a local restaurant in town. Overnight in Polignano. Breakfast & dinner included.
DAY 08 MONDAY: DEPARTURES
Following breakfast, transfer to Bari airport.
