Itinerary
Day 1: Friday – Arrival Rome (dinner)
Welcome to Italy!
Upon arrival at Rome airport proceed through Passport Control and collect your luggage inside the customs area. Meet your driver for private transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the Eternal City. In the evening, meet your host who will give you an overview of your tour program.
Overnight in Rome.
Day 2: Saturday – Coliseum & Vatican (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
After breakfast, guided tour of the Coliseum and Roman Forum. At the end of the morning tour, stop for lunch. In the afternoon continue the exploration of Rome with the Vatican. Discover the masterpieces of Greek and Roman ancient art, works of Raphael, Michelangelo and Caravaggio, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica. After the tour ends, return to the hotel by private coach. In the evening, enjoy dinner. Overnight in Rome.
Day 3: Sunday – Rome (breakfast)
Today is free at leisure to explore Rome on your own. We can suggest optional city tours or yo can spend the day shopping at the Roman boutiques! Overnight in Rome.
Day 4: Monday – Pompeii/Sorrento (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Depart Rome by private motor coach to Sorrento. En route stop for a visit of Pompei and visit one of the most incredible historical sites in the world, the Roman city destroyed and preserved by the 79 AD eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. Continue to Sorrento and enjoy a lunch in a typical trattoria. After lunch your tour host will introduce you to the highlights of Sorrento. Tonight the dinner will be served in a local restaurant in the heart of Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 5: Tuesday — Capri (breakfast)
Today, depart for Capri, one of the Mediterranean’s must-see places. Begin with a guided visit of this enchanting and picturesque island, a favorite with Roman emperors, the rich and famous, artists and writers. Capri has been enchanting visitors for centuries. Late afternoon departure to Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento
Day 6: Wednesday – Day at leisure (breakfast)
Sorrento is an ideal location to discover the beauties of the region. Your tour host will provide you with a wide range of suggested options or just spend the day at leisure. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 7: Thursday – Amalfi Drive (breakfast, dinner)
Today travel the Amalfi Coast, one of the world’s truly great bus rides, by private motor coach for a visit to Amalfi, Positano, Minori and Vietri. Marvel at the feat of engineering as you gaze out over the small houses and hotels all huddling on top of each other, breathtaking cliffs, lemon and olive trees, small beaches and medieval watch towers. The narrow roads makes this place unique to the world and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Amalfi Gulf from a relaxing terrace, where you will pick up your own lemons from a lemon tree and prepare a cold lemonade. Return to Sorrento. Farewell dinner will be served in a panoramic restaurant on the hills of Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 8: Friday – Departure
Breakfast followed by private transfer to Naples airport or railway station.
